About the Author and Founder

SM Mehedi Zaman, Proprietor of GARIVARA.com.bd, GARI-IMPORT.com.bd and Zaman Trade International.

His Career Background:

He did his graduation in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from AIUB in 2010.

He wanted to be an entrepreneur from his student life. To understand the corporate environment and to get experience in the field, he started working in multinational companies.

After his graduation, he started a career in the telecom industry by joining a multinational company like Huawei Technologies Bangladesh Ltd. as a BTS Engineer.

Huawei is world leading telecom equipment manufacturer and solution provider. The company provides services in more than 170 countries and regions. Huawei has three main businesses: fixed broadband networks, mobile networks, and enterprise business groups.

Then he joined Robi Axiata Limited as an IP network specialist. Robi is a Mobile network operator company in Bangladesh. It is the second largest mobile network operator in Bangladesh.

After he worked as an Experienced Integration Engineer in Ericsson. Ericsson is a Swedish multinational networking and telecommunications company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.

His responsibilities were to ensure the smooth operation of customer's networks by providing technical support and solving different critical issues.

During his undergraduate period, he worked in Grameenphone as a customer manager in a call center specialized EDGE team.

In the year 2020, he left his job to get out of the rat race. Since he worked in different multinational companies for around 10 years, a big circle of colleagues and friends has been built up. Then he realized that he can start a business by himself with the help of his friends and colleagues.

He started his own car rental company named GARIVARA.com.bd in the year 2015. He was confident that his friends, colleagues, and well-wishers can be the potential customers of his business.

What Types of Cars do We Import?

What is the Process for Importing a Car from Japan?

All vehicles imported from Japan must pass JAAI inspection before being sold in Bangladesh by any company other than the manufacturer.

Since vehicles can be imported only from the country of origin, Gari-Import.com.bd has a close relationship with several car dealers in Japan who help us source the best cars possible besides GARI-IMPORT.com.bd is a paid member of all Japanese car auction houses.
